Isono Miki !

Miki Isono (味園 美樹) is a student participating in the Session One killing game of Tetro Danganronpa. Within the session, she is designated as student One, and she is given the Ultimate title of the Ultimate Internet Idol.

Miki is designated the title of Ultimate Internet Idol within the killing game. Her work consists of streaming to her many fans, as well as producing her own original music. This is first seen in [Student One], where Miki is shown to be streaming, interacting with her fans, discussing her plans for the day. It is further elaborated on in her interview, where she discusses the content that her streams include; mostly gaming and music.

Before the killing game, Miki is shown to be a very popular streamer with a large, dedicated fanbase. She describes herself as an "online idol". Most of her work relates to music, but she also does streams for gaming and other such activities, like cooking, QnAs or cooking.

Miki lives with her mother and her sister, Hiroko. Her father, Toyoda, is not currently present in her life. Miki and Hiroko are said to have a strained relationship, the two of them having once had a fight which ended up with Hiroko in the hospital, though the cause for this fight is currently unknown. Her relationship with her mother, Aya, is seemingly positive, though it can be strained at times due to their differing personalities, and Miki's unwillingness to leave the house.

Miki is agoraphobic, and rarely ever leaves her house. She stopped going out and socialising sometime around middle school, and her family has seemingly taken no action to change this behaviour. Instead of attending an officially recognised institution in person, she instead takes online classes.

Miki is shown to have a very bubbly and friendly personality, particularly in front of her fans while she is streaming. While streaming, she speaks with a strong sense of familiarity, talking to her fans as if they were close, personal friends of hers. She encourages her fans to take care of themselves while watching her content, encouraging them to go outside despite being agoraphobic herself. It is unclear how much her personality changes when she isn't streaming. During the killing game, Miki is less bubbly, but still friendly. She frequently tries to uplift the other students, acting as a peacemaker during distressing times, and she is also shown to have a more humorous side around her peers. At some points, she is also shown to have somewhat of a more nervous personality, such as in the early days of the killing game, when she attempts to latch onto Hasegawa Ken, asking him to protect her. Despite her nerves, Miki is shown to be very kind. During [Salvation Game], she works incredibly hard to beat the other students, winning the temporary protection from the killing game granted by winning. She immediately passes this protection onto Wada Masanari, who was bedridden at the time, showing how far she was willing to go for her friends, despite the fact that this action would ultimately lead to her own demise later on.

Wada Masanari: Masanari was shown to be a massive fan of Miki's work, as shown in [Student Six], where he was shown to be watching one of her streams. He recognises her voice during their first meeting, but is later embarrassed to reveal his admiration to her face. Miki is shown to be very flattered by this, thanking him for his support, and they later become friends. Alongside Tsuno Manami, they make plans to go get lunch together after the killing game. Miki is shown to care very deeply about Masanari, to the extent of giving up the prize of protection that she had won from [Salvation Game] to keep him safe during Chapter One. Their relationship is also shown to be somewhat playful, with Miki leaving messages on his computer when he wasn't around, which he found after the events of Chapter One.

Tsuno Manami: Miki and Manami first begin to bond during the events of [Two Truths and a Lie], and after that they are shown to become close friends. They are often implied to be hanging out together off-screen, and alongside Wada Masanari, they make plans to go out for lunch after the killing game. They appear to have a close and very friendly relationship with each other, Manami having taken Miki's punishment of being forbidden drinking water for 24 hours in [Decision Game].

Hasegawa Ken: Early on in the killing game, Miki attaches herself to Ken, attempting to create a relationship where she is protected by him. In [Night Visit], she comes to his room and talks about her fear of being alone in the killing game. She asks him about his love life, implying an interest in him, which seems to have been for the purpose of self-preservation. However, she wasn't too invested in this plan, as she quickly stops and escorts herself out after being gently dissuaded by Ken.

Sasaki Hitomi: Despite Hitomi being Miki's eventual killer in Chapter One, they are shown to have a positive relationship. Hitomi isn't shown to have any ill will against Miki, and in [Kitchen Talk], they are shown to have a friendly, casual conversation with one another, with Hitomi offering her food, and Miki even teasing Hitomi lightly.

Erika extra rambling heh.

About her trial art, I tried to figure out what flowers were around her, and what they could mean. I believe the flowers could be marigolds, which can symbolise joy, resilience and passion, though they could also represent death, grief and remembrance. They are often shown to represent the connection between life and death. In Mexico, marigold flowers are deeply intertwined with the Day of the Dead celebrations, symbolising both life and death. In the Victorian Era in England, marigolds were associated with grief, and were often used in funerals wreaths and grave blankets.
