Harada Keizou !

Keizou Harada (原田敬三) is a student participating in the Session One killing game of Tetro Danganronpa. Within the session, he is designated as Student Two, and he is given the Ultimate title of Ultimate Zoologist.

Harada is designated the title of Ultimate Zoologist, though he states he is both a zoologist and a zookeeper. His job consists of working directly with animals, and he has a role in rehabilitating them also, explaining in his interview that he was tasked with rehabilitating Sawa after an incident that left her orphaned. He is shown to have a passion for his work, and he greatly enjoys working with animals.

Before the killing game, Harada worked for a wildlife rehabilitation centre as a part of a research placement experience he's been completing for post-secondary credits. As a part of his work for the centre, he was tasked with caring for and rehabilitating a baby Sumatran tiger named Sawa. Excluding school, it is said that he brings Sawa with him practically everywhere.

Harada lives with both of his parents, as an only child. He has a girlfriend, Yukino Hirano, who he spends a lot of time with. At work, it is shown that he gets along well with all of his coworkers. However, at school, he is fairly outcast.

In middle school, he was often picked on by his peers. To try and protect himself, he attempted to fit in with the people bullying him, becoming a delinquent and a bully himself during his first year of high school. This effort was in vain, as he still gets harrassed fairly often at school. Because of this, Harada dislikes attending school.

Harada seemingly has a very friendly and playful personality, first shown in [Student Two], where he is shown playing with a cat instead of working. He comes off as sociable and approachable, chatting easily with his coworkers. He appears to be quite hard-working as well, taking on the role of being both a zookeeper and a zoology student at once. He's also shown to be quite nervous and unsure during his interview, coming off as quite anxious and avoiding answering questions before they are further clarified for him. Though, he quickly gives up when rejected, putting up little fight when he is told he will not be returning home, and instead shifting his focus on Sawa, rather than his own wellbeing.

Sawa: Sawa is a rescue Sumatran tiger that Harada was tasked with caring for and rehabilitating after an accident that left her orphaned. He is shown to care greatly for her, speaking to her with endearment, and worrying greatly whenever the two are apart.

Yukino Hirano: Yukino is Harada's current partner. Despite having been in multiple romantic relationships in the past, he seems much more dedicated to Yukino than his past partners. Their relationship is deeply caring, with Harada visiting Yukino at her house when she was sick, and Yukino bringing him an umbrella when he got caught in the rain while buying groceries, Harada walking her home from school often, and such acts. They often visit each other's houses, and talk to each other over the phone. They had plans for Yukino to move in with Harada's family after high school. Harada's reward in the killing game after [Confession Game] was a locket with a picture of Yukino inside.

Chiba Airi: Harada and Chiba became friends after she approached him, asking to play with Sawa. They later formed a trio with Hama Ran, becoming close friends. They are often seen together, and are implied to spend more time together offscreen. Harada is shown to care deeply for Chiba, respecting her wishes when she comes to him and Hama, requesting that they treat her like an adult. Despite this, Harada would eventually end up being Chiba's murderer in Chapter Two, although the events that unfolded were out of his control.

Hama Ran: Harada and Hama are shown to be good friends, forming a trio with Chiba Airi. They are often seen together, and are implied to have spent more time together offscreen.
