what is tetro danganronpa ?

Tetro Danganronpa is a Danganronpa fan series written and directed by Von Babbit that tells the story of 16 students trapped in a killing game, forced to kill each other (and get away with it) to escape. They must continue to kill, with motive implementations each chapter to encourage murder, until the killing game reaches it's ending state, when only five students out of the sixteen remain and they are set free. Their lives in the killing game are recorded and transmitted to the outside world through a series of audio bugs hidden throughout their environment. The series is currently on it's second season out of three planned parts, Tetro PINK, Tetro BLUE, and Tetro WHITE. In the first season of Tetro Danganronpa, the students are placed in an imitation of a school, named Fujioka Memorial High School, with their host being Monomoko, a rabbit. The cast contains sixteen students: Isono Miki, Harada Keizou, Chiba Airi, Kamimura Kazutoshi, Hayashi Mai, Wada Masanari, Sasaki Hitomi, Ojima Takeshi, Tsuno Manami, Hama Ran, Okazaki Hanano, Hiroaki Nakamigawa, Tamba Ruiko, Hasegawa Ken, Watari Nishino, and Yanagi Shigeki (ordered by student numbers). The final episode for PINK, [Depart], released on May 2nd 2025. The first part, [Student One], released on December 1st 2023. The series followed a schedule of episodes releasing weekly, every Friday, until it's end.

In the second season of Tetro Danganronpa, the students are placed into the Kanagawa Futurist Technologies Institute laboratory, where the killing game staff remotely hosted Season One from, after the school suffers immense fire damage in Chapter Four of Tetro PINK. The cast contains sixteen students: Ouno Nanae, Ninomiya Youhei, Kumada Erina, Ikeda Daiki, Denden Misao, Hideyuki Tsukigata, Yokoi Ruka, Yaitabaishi Sou, Maekawa Azusa, Hirose Shingo, Ogura Noriko, Shishikura Osamu, Isoda Mion, Tei Atsushi, Nishiguchi Mutsuko, and Akiba Taku (ordered by student numbers). This series is currently ongoing, episodes for the prologue being released daily in July, until Chapter One begins on August 1st, where weekly uploads every Friday will resume, like for Tetro PINK. The first episode, [Student 1B], released June 30th 2025.

Little is known about the third season, Tetro WHITE, though it is the final season planned for the series.
